A key member of the Sandy Balls management team, the Administration Manager ensures the smooth running of the administration department, enabling the business to be completely supported and organised on a day to day basis.
Primarily supporting the directors and management team across the business, you will ensure that the administration team work in an organised and effective manner to enable the smooth running of the business as a whole. This will include Lease and Fleet Management, board meeting preparation, record keeping, customer complaints and any project work required. You will manage an administration team, ensuring company policies are adhered to and developing the team through appraisals and training.
A qualification in administration would be desirable, as is experience in a similar role. You will have understanding of finances, budgets, purchasing and ordering with the ability to work to tight deadlines using your excellent organisational skills. LEISURE CLUB MANAGER
An integral member of the Commercial Team, you will ensure that the leisure club is managed day to day, with the safety of our guests and members at the forefront at all times.
You will be required to manage a large team of leisure assistants; both full and part time ensure that staffing levels are correct for the seasons. This will include recruitment, training and development of your team. You will be responsible for the P&L as well as the commercial growth of the leisure club.
It is essential that you have a Leisure Management qualification, and First Aid/NPLQ and ILAM Plant Pool would be desirable. Relevant experience of managing a team within a similar environment is crucial to your success.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and motivator, with the ability to work under pressure and solve problems. If you are energetic, enthusiastic and committed then this could be the role for you.
The operations administrator is an integral member of the administration support team. Primarily the role will ensure that all operational departments have the administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the day to day requirements of the business.
The operations administrator will be the first contact for prioritising and planning day to day work schedules to property engineers and housekeepers on site. They will support the Operations Manager in purchasing supplies and planning contractor work within budget restraints.
The post holder will ensure that contractors carry out work in a timely, satisfactory and cost efficient manner and ensure all health and safety legislative requirements are adhered with
You will have worked in a similar role in property administration, and a financial understanding of budgets, purchasing and ordering systems. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, using your excellent organisational skills. You will be able to communicate at all levels and build relationships. You must have a good level of literacy, and experience of Microsoft office products, in particular, work, excel and outlook.
A qualification in administration would be desirable for this role.
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for the management of the whole site, standard, repairs and commercial properties to satisfy the requirements of the ownership and tenants, to preserve and increase the value and integrity of the properties and to meet the financial objectives of the ownership and management at Sandy Balls.
You will be fully responsible for the management of all contractual matters relating to property and the efficient management, operation, maintenance and performance of key properties.
Health and Safety is crucial, and you will maintain a thorough knowledge of all Sandy balls policies and procedures, you will demonstrate a positive attitude to health and safety at all times, leading by example.
You will have experience in property maintenance, construction and buildings, with previous experience in a similar role. A financial understanding of budgets, P&L, purchasing and ordering is a must. Do you have the ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure, with excellent organisational skills and a problem solving attitude?
GAS & PLUMBER ENGINEERS - FULL TIME
We are looking to recruit a full time gas & plumber engineer to maintain a high level of service to the park in relation to maintenance of all properties on the site. To provide emergency cover for repairs etc.on boilers and plumbing systems as directed by the supervisor. To carry out the daily maintenance of the sewage treatment plant & pump stations as directed by the Supervisor.
Candidates must be gas safe qualified, and hold a plumbing qualification NVQ level 2 and be ACS accredited.
HR ASSISTANT (FIXED TERM MATERNITY COVER) Start ASAP until Feb 2015
You will have real passion for HR and be able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a confidential environment. The department is going through a great deal of change with the implementation of a HR, Payroll and Time/Attendance system.
You will need to hit the ground running, assisting in the implementation of processes, procedures and the new HR/Payroll system.
You will update and maintain the employee HR files, ensuring that information is held accurately. You will manage the new starters process from offer until end of probation, this will include issuing offer letters contracts and handbooks, ensuring references are taken up in line with company policy and ensuring inductions are scheduled/completed and any uniforms are ready for their first day.
You will assist the recruitment process, managing adverts, applications and setting up interviews, and collating interview paperwork. You will support the managers in monitoring of absence through our HR systems and ensure that return to work interviews are conducted as required.
In the absence of the HR manager you will assist in disciplinary hearings taking minutes and providing guidance to the managers. You will also provide guidance on policies and procedures and escalate when appropriate. General administrative tasks in order to assist the smooth running of the department.
You will have experience of working in a confidential environment (be discreet and diplomatic), a HR environment is desirable. Solid experience of data entry with an exceptional eye for detail and accuracy. You will be an effective communicator, with great organisation and interpersonal skills and have IT skills, particularly in word and excel.
