Pub Manager

We are looking to recruit a pub manager to ensure the smooth running of the Woodside Inn.  To manage, train and develop the team, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers, to build sales and profitability.
You’ll be responsible for the recruitment, training and supervision of staff. You’ll also be coordinating performance management through the implementation of reward and recognition schemes.

One of your primary responsibilities will be to maintain high levels of customer service and build a loyal client base, whilst making sure revenue and profit targets are also achieved.  In addition to your front-of-house tasks, you’ll be in charge of budget control, managing client accounts and planning promotional schemes and marketing events.   We are looking for an ambitious and passionate person, they must have a strong background in food and beverage operations, and a good clear understanding of food safety and license practices, hold excellent communication skills and customer focus.

 Assistant Store/Vending Manager Designate 

 A new opportunity has arisen to support our Country Store and vending operation at Sandy Balls Holiday Village. The responsibilities will involve supporting the Country Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the store from customer service standards to exceeding sales targets. As well as developing and motivating a team, you’ll combine your commercial insight and excellent visual merchandising skills to continually grow the success of our brands and vending operation across the park.

You will hold an excellent experience in Retail as a Supervisor or Management role, good commercial awareness of stores, an ability to identify revenue opportunities to maximise potential and performance within retail and vending, a role model who consistently delivers an excellent customer experience.

Entertainer – Seasonal Role Full Time

We are looking for a seasonal entertainer to host and entertain our family guests at our Holiday Village. You must have the desire to entertain people, versatility and an energetic and hardworking attitude. This role may suit a drama/performing arts graduate with strong confident, ability to perform in front of large crowds and have excellent organisational skills. Responsibilities will include hosting children’s games, disco nights, hosting entertainment evenings and actively promote our entertainment and activities programme. You will also be responsible for coordinating bands and external entertainers. Experience working with children is essential and must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Chef  De Partie
We are looking for a versatile chef to work in our busy restaurant and pub.  The ideal candidate will have a  NVQ 3 qualification or equivalent.  Must be able to work as part of a team and have minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.  We are also looking to recruit experienced food & beverage assistants who hold excellent skills & experience in restaurants & bars.  Must also have minimum 2 years experience in a similar role. 

Gas & Plumbing Engineer - Full Time

We are also looking to recruit for a Gas & Plumbing Engineer to support the maintenance operation. Applicants must hold a gas safe qualification (LPG Preferable). Must be competent in plumbing instalation & repairs. Must be able to carry out a wide range of other general maintenance tasks, be organised, possess good customer service skills and work as a team player.
