LEISURE & ACTIVITIES ASSISTANTS

We are looking for individuals who want to join our leisure and activities team, covering all areas within the business including lifeguarding, activities and reception. You will ensure the facility is clean at all times and deal with guests on a daily basis.
 
An NPLQ would be advantageous but we are happy to invest in the right people we will put you through your NPLQ.

GROUNDS ASSISTANTS

Working as part of a team, our grounds and gardening assistants help with the upkeep, development and beautification of the village.
You will ensure the grounds and properties are kept in a safe and presentable condition to maintain the park's external grading criteria. You will carry out general maintenance tasks to the grounds and interior and exterior of all our properties, assist with the upkeep of the treatment plant and any emergency blockages. Maintain the trees, plants, hedges and grassed areas throughout the village and assist in the repair and maintenance of fences, roads, pathways and decking.
You will have a passion for grounds and maintenance. It is crucial that you are a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to ensure the village is tidy and presentable.

HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANTS – Various hours available

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as part of a dynamic team. Your role will include a range of cleaning duties comprising of lodges and caravans and including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living spaces. No two days will be the same!

You should have an eye for detail, thrive on meeting deadlines and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Core hours are Mondays and Fridays 9-3.  We can offer additional hours to the right candidates


BEAUTY THERAPIST

The Retreat at Sandy Balls Holiday Village is dedicated to providing stunning a choice of treatments using Clarins and Jessica products.

As part of the team, you will provide professional treatments and retail advice to our guests who visit The Retreat, which includes a range of facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures. You'll offer so much more than a complete pampering service,  You'll promote sales of products and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Friendly and approachable, you are a versatile beauty therapist with strong interpersonal skills. You must have an NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy - or an ITEC or equivalent in this subject.

Do you have a passion to deliver an outstanding guest experience, with a great attitude and a drive to constantly improve the treatment range and service of The Retreat?

This is a full time position, with the opportunity to earn commission on treatments.


KITCHEN TEAM LEADER & KITCHEN ASSISTANTS

As a team leader, you will supervise the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking and presentation of menu items to a high standard. You will monitor and implement operational cleanliness and food hygiene, leading from the front, to ensure standards are met whilst motivating, coaching and supporting your team.

The team works 40 hours per week, on a flexible basis, which includes evenings, weekends and some bank/public holidays.

GUEST SERVICES ASSISTANT Salary FTE £15k basic, OTE £25k
 
The role of our Guest services team is to delivering exceptional customer service throughout Sandy Balls and give a first point of call for a guest to find out information, deal with an issue or help in any way we reasonably can. As a member of the team you will take ownership for managing and resolving any guest issue, communicating constantly with the guests until resolution, and checking the guest is completely satisfied with our response. The guest must walk away feeling happy that it has been resolved and they have been treated by a very professional, courteous and caring member of our team.

You will work as part of the team, ensuring that problems are delegated to the correct department, followed up and communicated back with the guest. You will promote and provide information on accommodation and facilities, providing lodge tours where required. You will also interact with our guests on every available opportunity, promoting Sandy Balls as a holidaying experience of the highest standard. You will also be instrumental in spreading a culture of excellence guest service throughout the park, acting as an ambassador in how we treat our guests.

On Changeover days you will provide the guest with all the required information and keys for their accommodation in a timely manner, ensuring professional and efficient service at busy times in particular. You will complete guest courtesy calls to accommodation to ensure that the guest is extremely satisfied, as well as calling guests to understand their needs and help make improvements within our business.

You will be the key to delivering our mission statement, that every guest leaves wanting to return!

You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, face to face and on the telephone. Being a team player is crucial as is the ability to work under pressure.

You will have a caring nature and able to influence other members of our team as well as the determination and tenacity to see task right through to the end. You will be uncompromising in your expectations as to what customer service standards should be.

HOLIDAY SALES EXECUTIVE

Full time Basic £15k, OTE £25k, with potential to earn an additional £10k per annum
 
We are now looking to recruit highly motivated, dynamic sales executives who will excel at converting incoming enquiries into fantastic holiday experiences for all our guests.
 
As a member of the sales team you will be able to confidently sell 5 star holiday experiences and provide excellent customer service. You will be working in a targeted environment where your ability to understand our guest's requirements and provide a solution will help you achieve your personal goals. You are able to work as part of a small team, influencing and motivating each other through your successes and putting the guest at the heart of everything we do.
 
You will operate predominantly on the telephone, but also via email and face to face. Dealing with customer enquiries, you have the skill and knowledge to convert conversations into bookings and the tenacity to add value in customers’ requirements. Your ability to communicate enthusiastically and confidently as well as develop a thorough understanding about what we offer is absolutely key.
 
Your enthusiasm, energy and drive will be evident, as will your talent in finding real solutions to problems that arise. Taking ownership and being fully responsible for your actions is paramount as we offer a highly empowered environment.
 
Your role will involve customer services as well as sales, so a passion to help others and resolve challenges is paramount. Because we operate a 24/7 business, weekend work and occasional evenings are required, on a rotation basis.
 
We are looking for someone who is ambitious, passionate, energetic and confident.
At least 2 years previous sales experience
A positive "can do" attitude who is fun, outgoing and likes to laugh
You will have the drive and motivation to achieve and exceed targets
You will have empathy and determination in abundance and will be friendly and able to contribute to the team and the business overall
You will also need to be organised and tidy.
This is a role that may evolve over time to develop greater responsibility and reward for the right candidate.

BAR SUPERVISORS - WOODSIDE INN

Working in our busy bar and function departments, providing high standard of professional and personal service and guest care. This role involves giving excellent customer service when greeting and serving guests, tables in are cleared in a timely manner and all areas are clean, tidy and well stocked at all times. You are responsible for the cashing up at the end of the shift and dealing with all aspects of the bar in the absence of the manager.
 
You must be enthusiastic, have great people and communications skills and you are self-motivated.

Working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of a 7 day. Shifts will be given depending on the needs of the business (includes weekdays, evenings and weekends).

SEASONAL WARDENS

Your role is to provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests and visitors. Working a varierty of shifts including days and nights you will ensure that all guest and visitors enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner. You are there to ensure the security of the site, safety of guests and visitors on site at all times and generally assist across the site when required. You will be the first point of contact for all guests and residents on site out of hours and can provide general maintenance.

You must have a full clean driving licence, first aid is an advantage, good local knowledge and a 'can-do, problem solving attitude'.
